What this WordPress SEO audit checks
Search engines evaluate every page on dozens of on-page signals before rankings are even considered. This tool inspects the five groups that matter most for WordPress sites:
Head & indexing
Title tag presence and length (30–60 characters), meta description (120–160 characters), canonical URL, robots directives, viewport, charset, language attribute and favicon. A missing canonical or an accidental noindex from a plugin setting can silently remove a page from Google.
Content structure
Exactly one H1, a clean heading hierarchy with no skipped levels, at least 300 words of body content, and alt text coverage on images. Thin content and missing alts are two of the most common reasons WordPress pages fail to rank.
Links
Internal link count, empty anchors, and external links opening in new tabs without rel=”noopener” — a small security and best-practice signal that page builders frequently miss.
Social & schema
Open Graph tags, Twitter cards and JSON-LD structured data. Schema types are detected and listed so you can confirm your Article, FAQ or Product markup is actually rendering.
WordPress-specific
WordPress detection, exposed version number in the generator tag (a security risk), installed SEO plugin (Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, SEOPress), render-blocking scripts, script and stylesheet bloat, lazy loading and the legacy emoji script.
Frequently asked questions
Is this WordPress SEO audit tool free?
Yes — completely free with no signup, no email and no limits. The entire audit runs in your browser, so your page data is never stored on any server.
What does the SEO audit check?
27 on-page checks across five categories: head & indexing tags, content structure, links, social & schema markup, and WordPress-specific issues like version exposure, SEO plugin detection and script bloat.
Why can’t the tool fetch my URL?
URL fetching uses public CORS proxies, which some servers and security plugins (Wordfence, Cloudflare bot protection) block. If fetching fails, open your page, press Ctrl+U to view the source, copy everything and paste it into the HTML tab — results are identical.
Does this work with Yoast, Rank Math and other SEO plugins?
Yes. The tool auto-detects Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO and SEOPress, and fix suggestions include instructions for the most common plugins.
Is my website data safe?
Yes. Everything runs locally in your browser with JavaScript. No HTML, URLs or results are sent to or stored on our servers.
How is the SEO score calculated?
Each check carries a weight based on its ranking impact. Passes earn full points, warnings earn half, failures earn zero. The score is the percentage of weighted points earned; informational checks are excluded.
Turn search volume into estimated organic traffic — and its dollar value
Enter your keywords with monthly search volume, CPC and ranking position. The calculator applies industry-average click-through rates by position to estimate monthly organic clicks, then values that traffic at Google Ads equivalent cost — the same methodology Ahrefs and Semrush use. Everything runs locally; your keyword list never leaves your browser.
| Keyword | Volume /mo | CPC (USD) | Position | CTR | Est. traffic /mo | Value /mo |
|---|
Bulk paste keywords (CSV)
One keyword per line: keyword, volume, cpc, position — volume/cpc/position optional. Copy straight from Keyword Planner or Ubersuggest exports.
Advanced: edit the CTR curve
Average organic CTR by position (%). Defaults are industry-average estimates — lower them if your SERPs are crowded with ads or featured snippets, raise position 1 if you own a featured snippet.
How estimated organic traffic and traffic value are calculated
Ranking on Google only pays off in proportion to the clicks each position actually receives. This calculator models that with a position-based click-through rate (CTR) curve, then prices the resulting clicks at Google Ads rates:
Traffic value = Estimated traffic × CPC
Why position matters so much
Position 1 captures roughly 27% of all clicks for a query, position 2 about 16%, and position 3 about 11%. By position 10 the share falls under 2.5%, and page two positions rarely exceed 1%. Moving one keyword from position 7 to position 3 can quadruple its traffic — this tool makes that math visible before you invest in content or links.
Where to get volume and CPC data for free
Google Keyword Planner (free with any Google Ads account) provides volume ranges and top-of-page bid estimates. Ubersuggest offers limited free daily lookups, Keyword Surfer shows volumes directly in Chrome search results, and WordStream's free keyword tool exports CSV you can paste into the bulk box above.
Interpreting traffic value
Traffic value answers a simple business question: what would it cost to buy this traffic with ads instead? A page earning 2,000 organic visits per month on keywords averaging $0.40 CPC is delivering roughly $800/month in equivalent media value — a strong argument in client reports and a fast way to prioritize which keywords deserve content investment.
Frequently asked questions
How is estimated organic traffic calculated?
Estimated traffic = monthly search volume × the average organic CTR for your ranking position. Position 1 gets ~27% of clicks, position 2 ~16%, position 3 ~11%, falling under 2.5% by position 10. The curve is editable in Advanced Settings.
What is traffic value?
The cost of buying the same clicks through Google Ads: estimated monthly clicks × the keyword's CPC. It's the same methodology Ahrefs and Semrush use to value organic traffic.
Where do I get search volume and CPC data?
Google Keyword Planner (free with a Google Ads account), Ubersuggest's free lookups, the Keyword Surfer Chrome extension, or WordStream's free keyword tool. Paste values into the bulk box.
How accurate are the estimates?
They're directional planning estimates based on industry-average CTR curves. Real CTR varies with SERP features, brand strength and title appeal — treat results as a baseline, not a guarantee.
Can I calculate value in Pakistani Rupees?
Yes — toggle to PKR and set your own exchange rate. All values and totals convert instantly. CPC input stays in USD since ad platforms report it that way.
Is this tool free and private?
Completely free, no signup, and everything runs in your browser. Your keyword list is never uploaded anywhere.
